What is Chiropractic Therapy?
Chiropractic therapy is a form of therapy where hands are used to manipulate the spine as well as other parts of the body. It is also used to help joint mobilization. Chiropractic therapy is used to treat conditions such as back pain, neck pain, neuropathy, and sciatica, among other conditions.
Chiropractic therapies are used to improve the overall health of patients. The core of chiropractic therapy can also involve treatments with spinal manipulation. This treatment allows us to use high-velocity, short lever arm thrust in order to improve functionality, reduce nerve irritability and restore range of motion in the back.
Chiropractic treatment is used primarily as an alternative form of prescription for pain relief. It avoids the use of pharmaceuticals and focuses on treating the muscles, joints, bones, and connective tissue, in a manual way. It can and is sometimes also used alongside conventional medical treatment.
