IASTM - Instrumented Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization
The Tools You Need
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization is a manual approach to treating adhesions, scarring due to surgeries, injuries, and overuse of muscles. The technique breaks down capillary beds (microscopic blood vessels) inducing nutrition into the tissue of the injured area. IASTM enables the treatment of scar tissue and fascial restrictions during rehabilitation that allows for:
Decrease overall treatment time
Allows for faster rehabilitation/ recovery
Reduces inflammation
Resolves chronic conditions thought to be permanent
Common conditions:
Cervical sprain/strain (neck pain)
Lumbar sprain/strain (back pain)
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (wrist pain)
Plantar Fasciitis (foot pain)
Lateral Epicondylitis (tennis elbow)
Medial Epicondylitis (golfer's elbow)
Rotator Cuff Tendinitis (shoulder pain)
Patellofemoral Disorders (knee pain)
Achilles Tendinitis (ankle pain)

Trigger Finger
